~A Happy Sunday

Quoting: Why use DRUGS when there's MUSIC

I thank God for everything he has done for me,
today was a great Sunday!
Frankly speaking, when William asked me to play
for the YES week, I didn't expect to be the only keyboardist.
I was really nervous during the practices.

However,
I had a great fellowship with the everyone.
I wanna say thanks to Tommy, Matthew and Joshua
for helping me a lot, especially what to do and
when to play less notes and more fill in,
and at times just plainly chords.
Also wanna thank William for helping me out,
and encouraging.
Felt much better when he told me,
I'm ok and didn't play the wrong notes,
i'm stable but need to be more... free. haha!
Great thanks to Andrew! The one who
helped me during my first practice.
A Big Thank You to Elizabeth.
She really helped me a lot. And I mean a lot.

A few things I found out,
apparently Tommy remembered taking care of me in VBS.
Gosh! that was embarrassing. LOL.
He was kind of showing off to Andrew that he knew
me longer...
I was shocked! LOL.
Boy.. i was so annoying when I was young.
i use to go, "Tommy, where's Oscar?"
During practice for Fall,
I had problems with the tempo,
and Tommy sang for me.
he asked me to sing and then.. Elizabeth went,
"i think you have to sing TO her."
Then he jokingly move towards me with his guitar,
and closer and closer.. i quickly move backwards.
LOL. Everyone laughed.
He did sing for me, even during the real thing.

Joshua can speak Mandarin! XD
He spoke to me and Madarin. LOL
he went like "ke yi mah?"
He was seriously a very nice person.
He often check if i'm ok,
and many times he would remind me the chords
during the instrumental.
When i look at him to see if i'm right,
he would smile and that assured me,
i'm playing the same chords.

It was fun doing the acoustic way to
worship GOD. Something really different.
It felt nice hearing the congregation singing,
worshiping with their hearts.
It's interesting how Joel played the Timpani,
Tambourine & the sand sand thing. I don't know
what is it called. It's not Maracas ok!

The choir sounded nice! Good job to you guys!
Had to say the psalmist & worship leader
was great too. Ginny!! THUMBS UP fer ya!
Amanda to you too... ^ ^

& Thanks For All Who prayed for me!

LOL.
Today was so cold when i entered the church,
Bryan gave me his jacket.
and i had no chance to return it to him till
the end of the second service. haha! Sorry!!
He sang great in All For Love, don't you think?

Neway, today was awesome,
the speaker is Hyper to the Max!!

I wanna thank God again!
Cause if it wasn't for him,
i don't know how i can garner much courage to play,
& i may forget how to humble myself.

I may not be great & a pro
but... I hope God is Happy with what i've done today!
I can say because of HIM &
Lots and lots of help! i've improved.
i really wanna bring my own love song one day,
to him by his power.

To End,
I express myself through Drawing
I fantasize by Writing
I worship by Music

"i think people are always stressed with something in their life. even the happiest people would have some kind of worry. but during concerts, people just forget about it...they scream, they sing, they look like idiots. but I can definitely tell that they are having fun and i feel really proud that i'm a member of a group that can make people be like that." -Aiba Masaki
