The Diary of Ayumi
The Written Diary Part 2

Evening, at about 9.17 PM.

Ayumi was in her room with her hair tied in two ponytails. Her room was a small wooden floor and white colored cement wall with posters and pictures everywhere. She sat at her study table with the light from a small table lamp shining down on her books.

“I don’t get this at all!” Ayumi said as she bit her pencil. She flipped the pages of her Chemistry text book and finally stopped.

“I give up! I’m gonna take a break now.”

Ayumi closed the textbook and put her pencil back into her pencil holder that was filled with stuff; more than five rulers and some pens. She flopped down on her bed and hugged a green smiley face bean bag. She let out a sigh and turned her face to the left. There she spotted the red diary.

“Ayumi’s Diary huh… Should I have a little peek?” She said as she sat up and took the diary in her hands. She flipped open the first page then shut the book again. She shook her head, but in the end she opened it.

“I guess one or two pages won’t hurt.” Ayumi reassured herself.

May 15

Dear Diary

Today my precious cat died. I cried. It used to spend most of it's time with me. It was naughty sometimes but I really loved it. I gave it a cat burial service, although mum had gone against my idea. But I did it anyway, a small burial at the garden nearby my house. Good-bye Toni.

Ayumi 07

Ayumi’s eyes widened as she read that page of the diary.

“Toni-chan. My cat. Whose diary is this? May 15, Toni-chan’s funeral.” Ayumi said as she slowly touched the page with her fingers. Tears rolled down her face as she remembered her cat’s funeral.

The Next Day,

“Morning sleepy head!”, Ayumi's brother wished her. Ayumi’s tall brother had three piercings on one ear and two on the other, but he was otherwise normal and still kept his hair in its original black, unlike his surfing friends who had gone golden brown and red. Ayumi rubbed her eyes on the staircase and walked to the dining table. She stole a cookie from her brother’s plate and dipped it into the cup of coffee her mother made.

“Morning.” She managed to mumble. Her brother shrugged and pushed the plate of cookies to her.

“What are your plans today? Last day of summer.” Her brother asked.

“Meeting Taila at the coffee house near school. I told her I needed to talk to her.” Ayumi replied and took a bite off another cookie.

The coffee house was rather empty at this time. People would be spending their last day of summer at the beach, soaking up the last bit of sun.

“Hey! Taila! Did you wait long?” Ayumi said as she entered the coffee house. She spotted Taila at the long table near the window facing the roads outside, with her hands folded on the table.

“Nope. Just got here. So what’s up?” Taila turned around and said. She had on a long sleeve top and some rugged jeans. Totally opposite from Ayumi, who was wearing a cute baby tee and shorts. Ayumi took a seat next to her and folded her hands on the table too.

“What would you ladies like?” A tall black haired waiter came to take their order.

“I’ll have a lime juice….” Ayumi lost her words as she turned around and to look at the waiter.

“Bro?!!!” Ayumi shouted, astounded.

“Yo! Max.” Taila greeted. Max laughed at Ayumi’s expression.

“I've been working part time the whole summer.” Her brother told her.

“You never told me anything.”

“You were almost never home the whole summer.”

“Ok. My fault.” Ayumi said and turned around with an annoyed face. Max took Ayumi and Taila's order of a lime juice and a cola and walked to the counter.

“So, what is it you wanted to tell me?” Taila asked. Ayumi took out the diary that Kira gave to her and shoved it towards Taila.

“This. This Diary is scary. It has my past in it. Remember my cat Toni?”

“Yeah. That one that you gave a burial for.” Taila said curiously. Ayumi flipped the diary to the page written May 15.

“It was written. On the exact same date. And the day my brother and I fought that I almost wanted to run away….”

“And you did. You came to my house!” Taila interrupted Ayumi.

“It’s not my diary. I’m sure. I didn’t write that. It’s not my handwriting.” Ayumi said before her friend could question her.

“If it’s true, then let’s test it.” Taila said playing with the diary pages.

“Test it? How?” Ayumi asked. Her panic was audible.

“Read what’s going to happen tomorrow or the next few days to come. If it comes true, then we know something’s wrong.” Taila said calmly and pushed the diary back to Ayumi, as if trying to say ‘you read it’. Ayumi took the diary and flipped the pages to the date August 21. Tomorrow.

THE WRITTEN DIARY part 1

“Look out, Ayumi!” A young girl’s voice shouted. Ayumi, a short haired girl turned her head around only to find a beach ball coming her way. BANG! Ayumi fell down on the sand.

“Ouch!” Ayumi said as she got up. A bunch of girls were playing beach volleyball with Ayumi.

“Ayumi... Next time, pay attention. We are losing 3-19 now”.

“I was! Until he came walking to the beach.” Ayumi told her friend pointing to a tall guy with his surfboard, buying ice-cream. Her friend laughed.

“You never change. Well, I guess Kira is a hottie", her friend said through her laughter.

“Don’t laugh Taila! It’s not because he’s a hottie”.

“Let me guess, since the day he saved you from the big bullies, when you were how old?” Taila, a tan teenager spoke Ayumi’s mind. She poked Ayumi on the nose as if she were a little kid.

“Ok! Ok! I get what you’re getting at”. Ayumi pushed Taila away from her face. Taila laughed harder this time.

“Ok! Enough talk. Let’s get back to the game.” Taila grabbed Ayumi’s hands and ran to their places. The game started and it seemed like the opponent gave no mercy.

On the other side, Kira finished his ice-cream in split seconds and picked up his surf board, wandering off into the sea. He surfed smoothly in the waves, until he hit something with his surfboard and toppled into the sea. He got up and shook the water away from his face and hair. As he was about to pick up this surfboard, he found something. A book. A red covered book. Curiosity getting the better of him, he took the book and opened in. The pages were all wet and some writings were slightly smudged. But it was amazing that all the pages were laminated, such that the book looked well kept.

“Ayumi’s Diary”. He read the words written on the first page. He thought for a while then quickly turned his head to the left and stared at Ayumi.

Ayumi on the other side just finished their game.

“I’m hungry!!!” Ayumi shouted.

“Last one to the hot dog stand is a pig!” Taila said and took off bare-footed in the warm sand.

“Wait up! Cheater! Hey!!”

Ayumi ran and almost caught up with Taila. BANG!

“Ouch….” Ayumi said when she fell face first into the sand. She picked herself up and wiped the sand away from her face.

“Ayumi! Sorry. I wanted to return this to you”, Kira said, handing over the diary he found as he swept some sand off Ayumi’s hair.

“Neat work in there huh. Laminating it.” He added in.

“Kira…?” Ayumi blushed. She had totally forgotten about the diary that Kira handed to her. Kira blinked a few times and took Ayumi’s hand.

“Here, your diary.” He said as he put the diary into her hands. Ayumi looked at the diary and opened it.

“Hey! Ayumi!” Taila called from the Hot Dog stand, holding two hot dogs in her hands.

“Sorry Kira. Taila is calling for me. Ciao!” She put two fingers forward and winked. She ran off to Taila.

“Taila… You wouldn’t believe it. I… Kira…”

“Chill. Breathe first. Breathe first. And what’s that?” Taila said nodding her head towards the diary.

“Oh, this? Kira said something about my diary…” Ayumi said as soon as she caught her breath. She paused and took another look at the diary in her hand.

“Wait… is that your diary? Don’t tell me, Kira found it… and he read it, about you being all gaga over him?” Taila guessed with a small grin on her face.

“No! That’s not it! I don’t even own a diary!” Ayumi said.

“Why not try opening the front part of the diary. The name should be written on it.” Taila said as she kept the two hot dogs in her hands. Ayumi stared at the diary and finally opened the cover.

“Ayumi’s Dia…..” Ayumi’s voice trailed off. Taila gave her a look and Ayumi shot back,

“I’m telling you. This is not mine. I mean, how many Ayumi's are there in the world?”

“So what are you gonna do 'bout it?”

“Find it's owner I guess. A diary is something important.”

“Good luck with that. Here’s your hot dog.” Taila stuffed the hot dog into her mouth, muffling Ayumi's next words.

“Sorry can’t hear ya.” Taila said and laughed at Ayumi’s pale face.

A month ago,
I wished for a Memorable and Fun day,
but the day before,
I wished for a peaceful day.

Woke up at in the morning...
On my phone..
about 5 to 6 or more SMS...
haha shocked me..
unexpected people wished me..

late to school today,
Olive gave me a pouch with Love-chan on it,

Yeng gave me vitC orange flavoured sweets.. XD

+Maths and Chem exam today...

I spend the whole morning, doing +maths with yeng..
(I prefer keeping calm and see people do work and learn
from them or help them then last minute memorizing)

Will Kill Hanson for Making the whole class sing Happy Birthday.

Original Wanted to do a Vid for this... But im overly busy now.. I'll definitely do it.. Just wait!

Early Morning...
I woke up...
Excited? I guess...
Then.. Brushed teeth.. Bath.. and get changed...
breakfast... Was... Wait I didn't eat any cause i told my mum i'll be eating lots.. in the bus and during break... I brought sausages!

Sat with Kim2 In the bus...
We saw this truck with a sign saying "Pencucian Bus Stop Sedang dijalankan" Hanging outside it.. Laughed a lot....

Reached...
all the crap talk given by the instructor...
Team Members : Kim2, Chermaine, Yeng Yeng, Kasturi and Me!

We were the last few to get our jobs..
Initially we were told that we will get the Lion,
they told us we would only worked at the Birds section for awhile and at 9
we will change to lion... LIARS! We worked at the Bird Section the whole time..

Our instructor lead the way and brought us there...
Just the beginning of the road we saw flamingos.... A lot of them..
But that was just the beginning... When we turned into the road... The whole road was Full Of Flamingos! FULL... It started to move away when the instructor walked pass... I tell you those eyes of the flamingo... stares real good.. STARE... STARE... STARE... Creepy? I Stared Back.. Kinda creepy though... hehe


Then we were brought to the Bird House.. Its Stinks! The first thing we all notice.. was the smell... We were told to step in this solution before entering and before going out.. It was for safety.. from afar.. people would think its just some water that was left there...
My mum told me it was to be safe from bird Flu...

Well.. Jobs.. Separating Jobs...


Kim2 and Kasturi = In the Kitchen... (Stinks) Seriously can vomit... (Chopping Veges) Kim


Yeng Yeng = Wash stuff.. that was given to her.. (She said she had to wash bird shit that was in the basin that was given to her as well.)


Chermaine = In the incubator. What she does? sweep floor.. sweeping WORMS.....



Me! = Destroy Spider Webs.... With spiders in their web.. sweep the floor of the space outside the incubator (had to sweep cricket shit) ... and mop it...

And while doing my job...
There was this annoying bird with extremely high pitch bird making so much noise...
Some of the birds were kinda cute.. haha..

Then... Olive(photographer) came in late.. When all of us.. Finished our jobs... And our instructor... gave us all a feather.. Including Olive.. Wonder what feather was it...

Then Break time.. Lost our way.. Did not know where was the cafeteria.... but found the others... followed them... eat while eating... Only given 1/2 hour break!

sat the tram... then we saw teacher at the hippo, looking at it.. We wanted to ask teacher when would we change to Lion... little did we know.. the instructor already decided not to give us lion.. because we were noisy.. SWT... So we jump off the moving tram.. one by one.. starting from Kim2... and teacher was shocked...

Ate at the cafeteria... i guess.. Kim2 was very into the monkeys section... the monkey was cute.. i have to admit.. it was like us... haha... it moves as if it was a baby human...

Then the five of us.. walked back... we set a goal.. that we would reach there early and finish the job... and then the instructor would let us.. go look and walk around... teacher said they would...

but we lost our way... after finding our way back..

Jobs :

Yeng and Kim = Chopping Beef and fed some bird later...

Kasturi = Rake leaves... from one road...

Chermaine = Rake leaves.. from the other side...

Me = Rake leaves... ( i thought i had to rake from the back part of the bird house..)

While I raking leaves... I heard someone said hello in a very very very sweet voice... I looked around.. i thought must be the parrots.. there were parrots at where i raked... Then I replied

"hello?! Hello?!!" no reply.. so I said..

"Fine!"

then it said..

"hello!!" Again .. I looked around.. couldn't figure which parrot that said it...

this went on a few times...

Then later the instructor came and laughed at me.. he told me that i wasn't suppose to rake the back part but only the outer part... Stupid me...

I wasn't the only 1... Chermaine raked from outside the gate..then the bird house area... haha... and the instructor made fun of her by saying she had no energy to sweep the part finish the bird house area in 1 hour. But she replied that she swept from all the way outside till inside.

hard working!!!! Yeah!!!


and so our jobs end...
and we got a present!!
We get to take picture with a parrot on our shoulder...


I was the last to put on my shoulder... and the instructor tapped my shoulder to see if i was scared... and i jerked.. haha... later he put the parrot on me..

and later he was like...

"Semua ambil bersama" After i took my pic... I was shocked!!
The parrot was on me for so long...

Then i asked if it can speak.. he said yes.. i asked if it had a sweet voice...
he said
"lebih kurang"
but when asked to demo, he said the parrot "tak ada" mood!

Oh well..
at the beginning...
We said we hated the bird section... But now..
WE SAY WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!

Though it STINKS! haha





And then off we go...
we picked up Flamingo feathers on the way.. the pink ones.. and tried taking pics... near it...
there was 1 that was very near us..
It was starring at us... the whole time.. kinda creepy...
And all was standing on 1 leg.... *Laughs*

Then we moved to Savannah walk... I almost stepped on shit...
But later... when kim and yeng asked to take picture.. while moving back to take a good pic..
I accidentally stepped on Camel shit.. I know.. Sucks..

Yeng told me to take off at the sand area.. Hey! it worked! haha... I showed them my shoe and no more shit! We were suppose to find... the penguins.. but we dilly dally here and there...
We saw a tram passing...
tired of walking... We Jumped on the moving tram.. It was easier then jumping off it...

Then we got down later.. and visited stef and yin yie... and mandy.. the group... feeding the most raccoons. It was FAT FAT CUTE CUTE!

Then we visit the orang utan area... We thought the orang utan was fake.. Cause it was not moving and the way they were positioned was so HUMAN.. SO FAKE... later we saw it yawning.. all of us was shocked and started making noise.. cause earlier some said the light brown was real... some said both the dark brown and light brown was fake.. IT LOOK FAKE.. man...

Then finally.. The penguin.. Only 2 of them.. haha

And then Go Back?

no.. haha Hanging out while waiting for the others...

Plot : Ayumi and her friends was spending their last day of summer vacation at the beach, when Ayumi's Diary was found, or so everyone thought it as her diary but Ayumi claimed that she do not keep a Diary. Somehow whatever was written in the Diary came true in Ayumi's life...

Echo of The Melody

You stand there in front of a beautiful white door with glass handles. Mist is flowing through the cracks of the door and it chills you. There are mysterious, intricate carvings on the door and you hear a beautiful sound coming from within. You bite your lip and cannot not resist opening the door before you. Curiosity kills the cat as they say. You take a step inside while hugging yourself for it is freezing. The vast space is filled with ice not unlike glass, and there are many ice sculptures. But one thing catches your eye. A glass piano, perhaps? You slowly move forward and touch it. It feels a little moist. You realize that it is ice before realizing that the beautiful sound is coming from it. A pair of hands are playing it! The hands press a key on the piano and the note rings in your ear. Soon, you feel a little warmer. You touch your shoulder and feel a hand.

“It’s very cold in here. You can wear my jacket”. A soft male voice whispers into your ear. The sound of the piano is still playing.

“This piano is made of ice. In fact, I cannot press the keys down. I merely touch them and it makes beautiful sounds. It has a unique echo sometimes. Amazing isn’t it? The most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.”

Your eyes open wide as you stare at the piano.

“Come, let’s play it together. It’s warmer when you move your hands. I’ll teach you the most beautiful song. A song of spring and love”.

He brings you to the ice piano and plays the first note, creating an echo. He takes your hands and place them gently on the piano. You find it amazingly smooth as you try touching the keys. He teaches you that beautiful song and you slowly learn it. As time passes, you manage to play the song. True enough, the keys cannot be pressed down. All you have to do is touch it, but the pedals are a different case. Every time you step on it, it breaks! The sound becomes grander with each break of the pedal. The broken pieces turn into sprinkles of white dust and soon the dust reassembles, forming a new pedal.

The next thing you know, you wake up under an apple tree. You feel warm and remove the jacket. You rub your heavy eyes and then look around. You see a guy picking apples and putting them in a basket. A dream? You decide.
